Yo....so I kno this kid right, and he's pretty cOOL. Well actually he's UNMIS@KABLY CooL. He's sorta takin ova the scene right now and I figured yall need 2 kno abt him ASAP (so I can seem cool for puttin yall on b4 he blows up forreal forreal lol). Sooo this cat's name is Fred. A Chicago native, and an Alabama resider, this fellow is hungry and is eating the whole streetwear culture for dinner. His goals of owning the first streetwear boutique in AL was halted when Kreativ.Sole (click here), a streetwear boutique in Huntsville, came on the scene. BUT WAIT....THERE'S MORE... not scared of a lil competition this clever cat took up an internship there and is learnin, growing, and maturing into a young boutiquer (lol made that up....Imani's definition of "boutiquer": one who knows abt boutiques. one who knows how to run a boutique and prosper from it. Imma holla at Webster bout that one!)

Anywhoser, while learning about boutiquing (made that up too lol. verb form in this piece), Fred is still continuing and developing his baby, HIS BLOG!!!!! My family is full of musicians! Trust and believe me! Not even lying to u! And i got witnesses :-P But the main person I think who needs to get on right now is my cousin...his music is AMAZING. Every time someone hears his music for the first time, they are amazed because he is too talented of a musician to not be on right now. All he needs is a big break, and I'm on a mission to get that for him!

He plays every instrument that he can get his hands on, a feat acquired from being a the son of a music teacher. Wish I had more of a bio for him buuuuut I really dont right now. I'll add more to this post later though, or make new posts when new things about him pop up.

The purpose of the this post though is to let you all kno abt a deal he has goin on right now:

Hittin DC and Rockin Some Bells

Soooo I kinda wanna move around this summer and make some trips. Hopefully i'll get to ATL or some city and haven't been to yet this summer. But until then I'm hittin up DC (insert cool nickname for the city here lol).

I'll b doin to DC to attend the ROCK THE BELLS concert on July 12th, since I have to help my cousin with our big annual Juneteenth  (if u dont kno what that is PLZ look it up. Blk history for that behind!) BBQ on the 27th, which is the date of the Chicago show. Anyway, I figured the concert would be a good reason for me to have a mini vacation, visit a friend, get some good eats, go site seeing, hit some stores, hear some good music, take some AMAZIN pics and b closer to the 1st family =).

If you don't know about the Rock the Bells concert, you need to get on. I JUST got on and now it looks like somethin imma b tryin 2 catch every year since it's annual! The artist that caught my eye this time around was DAMIEN MARLEY! OMG if u sleep on him WAKE UP NOW!!!! His last cd, "Welcome to Jamrock", made me AND my mama's life lol. I will not go on and on abt this man, but imma put up a couple vids wit this post so plz check him out! Check the performers comin to this thing though....CRAZINESS

Today, I told my dad I couldn't make the trip to see him this weekend because I had to work. I surprised him by driving ten hours, and while he was out, I let myself in with my key and hid behind the couch for when he came in. He walked in. I jumped out. I then had to call 911. FML

Today, I told my dad I was going to Walgreens and asked if he needed anything. He needed condoms, and that I should call him when I get there so he can explain the kind he likes. FML

Today, a car floated slowly into my lane from the left with no signal. She gazed at the right turn like it was going to kiss her. "What the FUCK, lady?" I shouted, slamming on my brakes. Two seconds later I hear a tiny voice in my back seat, "What fut, YADY?!" My 22 month old son's first full sentence. FML

Today, my girlfriend told me she was pregnant. We haven't had sex yet. FML

Today, I was cleaning my father's study room and wondering why I did not receive my acceptance/rejection letter from a college I really wanted. I found the acceptance letter, on his desk, also approving of a full scholarship. The deadline to confirm was a month ago. FML

Today, I came home from work late (2:30am). As I snuck carefully into bed and laid down next to my sleeping future wife, my fiancee half awake said "No, no... Dan will be home soon." I am Dan. FML

Today, I checked my bank account that i've been saving money in since I was a kid for college. I have $100 left out of the $10,000 I had last month. Apparently my parents thought buying a pool and an HDTV for themselves was more important than my college education. FML

Missin the Stompin Grounds a Little

Ok soooo STL swaggin has taken over my body! I kno no other way to dance lol! I kno ppl b lookin at me at parties like "what in the world is this girl doin?" Or like "where is this heffa from?" Thank God my homie Everis came up from school so I wasnt the only one swaggin out a loft party I went 2 a couple days ago!
