I am an avid Chicagoan! Ask me where I'm from and ill DEF tell u :) One of our streetwear stores back home, Jugrnaut Chicago, hosted Married to the M.O.B. and Lynnette Astaire's (the designer of the new tee) "Dress You Up" tee release party! It looked like it was  smash :)

I actually got swag :)

It was funny cuz i was looking through sneakerfreaker. com for new ladies shoes and it looks like i actually have a lil collection goin. I mean I am no sneaker-head but i have three of the pairs of shoes on the list that they had online for hot shoes right now for women. Kinda proud of myself, and trust if i had more money i would have more of them lol. Anyway, these are the shoes that I have a wear rather frequently! (like i said in a previous post, i love bold colors and randomness and like making them work wit my wardrobe!!!! I DARE u to do the same :-P )  <143> 

PS: I have WAY more colorful pairs than these lol, but these were just the ones on sneakerfreaker :) Imma keep the other shoes kinda official. Ill just let u imagine the others i have ;-)

Anyway, I meant to put this up the other day. This is a new colorway put out for Nike Women's Air Maxes...Metallic/Silver/turquoise.

I'm big on color and randomness and making it work in my wardrobe! And i've just recently been really on Air Maxes so these get my sign of approval :) <143>

So yes, I am one of the millions of ppl who is in love wit Beyonce's Single Ladies song. I was lookin at Kanye's Blog and this video basically made my whole life! Im one of those girls who likes to bust out the choreography from the video in the middle of a party, but theses 100 ladies took it to another level. Although some of them have their "white moments", this video for the most part is pretty freakin amazin :) Enjoy!! <143>

Ladies....im on a never ending quest to find updates for women wit swag. Those who might just choose sneakers over heels, or Hellz Bellz over Chanel. Not that high fashion isn't wassup, but those wit a smaller pocket book or who are into streetwear, or who want to just b unique are often forgotten about. New Magazine

 

Soooo im into fashion right? But one of my other passions is Africa and the different cultures that rest within that vast contitnent! I was out wit the bf in Barnes & Nobles and I came across a huge magazine with an African woman on the front sooo of course it caught my eye and I'm so glad that it did :) After doing a little research, come to find out that I picked up the second isses of a new magazine cleverly enititled ARISE: Africa's Global Style & Culture Magazine. In the first issue they noted that ARISE is "the first global magazine deidcated to achievements in African fashion, music, cutlrue and plolity." Below are some of the images within the crazy great magazine!

LOOOOVE the use of the African drum and binoculars to show off these fab shoes!!! Great Idea!!

So within this magazine they have articles covering all four of those areas. This 185 page magazine is packed with vibrant picture and relevant information, shedding a different light on the beautiful Africa. I tried to be selective with the pictures, but you should really go pick it up or check out the website to see what I'm really talking about. They've found a subscriber in me ^-^

Shoes for a Cause: LunarRacer and Lunar Everyday Release April 11th

Lance Armstrong and Nike collabed on these new shoes. Continuing with his Yellow theme and LIVESTRONG anthem these kicks are a step ahead of the game, both fly AND impactful . I love any effort that's out to raise awareness and funds for good causes and Lance has been a strong advocate for cancer awareness--->this is just another step in his philanthropic  efforts. 

Whether you're just going for a stroll or going for a run, do it with a purpose and know that the shoes are your feet are making a difference. Kinda makes me wanna b a runner buuuuuut ill just stick with the Lunar Everday's.
