Summer adventures wit the mom couldnt get any better than the one we went on today. Im a big food network watcher, esp when it's one of those shows abt different resturants and places to go to in different cities. So i caught an episode of some show a while back and they visited this Costa Rican restaurant in Chicago known for their exotic Milkshakes...sooo ive been BUGGIN my mom to go and we finally went today! YIPPEE for NEW RESTAURANTS!

I getta kick outta goin to try new places and this place hit the spot! Irazu, at 1865 N. Milwaukee, is a quaint little family run Costa Rican restaurant. I thought it would b a great place for my mom and I to go because they have an extensive vegetarian menu, and my mom's a vegetarian =) But they also have a rather large menu for MEAT eaters too YUM =)

So since we were on a new adventure I wanted to document the greatness that is Irazu. I went in knowing that I wanted their famous Oatmeal shake, but little did i kno i would find other delectable cuisines! BOY did me and mommy INDULGE!!

Sidenote: our waiter and table seater was so nice and helpful and they totally welcomed us like family even though we told them we were newcomers. Sooooo great food AND great service!

If you ever get a chance, visit Fox and Obel, an international supermarket in downtown Chicago. It's pretty "boogie" lol, but get ur grown man/woman on and expand ur horizons. Now Alycia WAS close to Vanessa Simmons and Jess from the MTV series Daddys Girls. Alycia is deemed the neighbor and friend in that show. Earlier today Vanessa tweeted Jessica: @imjessbnreal where u at in this damnn house!! we needa take these pics..my career depends on it...LMAO"
